Tickets are now on sale for the National Retail Association’s (NRA’s) 2016 Rio-themed Rewards for Excellence Gala Dinner at Sydney’s Sofitel on September 14.
Feathers, maracas and toucan-themed celebrations are all on the agenda as we celebrate retail’s movers and shakers, who together, are taking the industry to an entirely new level in 2016.
Nominations have now closed and judging of the prestigious awards is currently underway to determine who will come out on top, so now’s your chance to grab a ticket to the most anticipated awards program in the national retail calendar.
One of the most hotly-contested categories – the Young Retailer of the Year – has again attracted an impressive line-up of entrants.
2015 Young Retailer of Year Medina Cicak, a 24-yo Graduate Leader – Human Resource Officer and RSC Generalist for Yum! Restaurants International, for KFC Australia, finally took out the prize after three years in a row as a nominee.
“Starting out in retail when you are 15, you only know what you have been taught, so being able to venture out and experience the broader retail sector is what motivated me to apply,” Ms Cicak said.
“What has kept me here is understanding how much an impact the Young Retailer of the Year program has to me personally,” Ms Cicak said.
This year, the NRA is also pleased to be able to sponsor TLC for Kids through ticket sales, with $3 from every ticket purchased going directly towards helping kids and families in their time of need.
