Tips and strategies to develop improved learning materials

July 28, 2016

Given that much of the training that occurs in Retail is non-accredited and takes place on the job, employers and workplace trainers are constantly developing new resources and learning material to use with employees. We found an excellent resource that we wanted to share with members, a Universal Design Checklist, which is a tool to help you create more user friendly learning resources.

This checklist is available through our Foundation Skills web portal, which has tips and strategies to help employers and trainers develop communication skills with their employees. To access the checklist, click here

We are constantly adding information to our Foundation Skills portal, so if there is anything you would like to see included, please email our Training Director, Yvonne Williams.
