One of the most popular training programs the NRA has been delivering in recent years has been the one day Customer Service workshop. High staff turnover and a high casual workforce can make suitable professional development programs for retail staff hard to find.
This is why over the past year, the NRA has been offering one day professional development workshops for retailers.
More that 120 retail employers have sent 300 plus employees along to gain new insights and ideas for their workplace, as well as tips and techniques to improve the service they provide to customers. The workshops are short, specific and focus on deepening skills in areas such as communication and the sales process. These are the skills that are needed for retailers to stay competitive.
Feedback from workshop participants tells us that they can immediately apply their new skills to their workplace the next day. Many of our members are now using these workshops as a part of their in house Learning and Development program for their employees.
