Success for our graduating Gold Coast students

November 14, 2016

GOLD COAST – SIR20212 Certificate in Retail Services

September 2016 intake

The NRA Retail Training Centre is delighted to announce that the latest cohort of students on the Gold Coast have received positive results with immediate job outcomes for more than half of the graduates.

The NRA, Coles Supermarkets and Help Enterprises have just completed one of our most successful Skilling Queenslanders for Work programs to date on the Gold Coast.

Two NRA trainers worked with the participants to prepare them to undertake work experience at Coles Supermarkets, who also provided additional industry support throughout the program.

Help Enterprises also offered complementary assistance to clients and staff from Coles Supermarkets attended throughout the program to familiarise themselves with the students and to share company specific information and talk about employment opportunities and expectations of Coles as an employer.

So far, 15 participants have gained their full qualification in SIR20212 Certificate in Retail Services and there have already been 9 employment outcomes for the group.

This training is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government through the Skilling Queenslanders for Work Initiative.

This is a fabulous effort by the students participating in their work experience placement, who have shown that they are Ready for Retail!
